Intensive Outpatient Services

This program is tailored to the person’s needs and includes meetings over an 8 to 12 week duration. The program also includes family support services, access to psychiatric evaluation with medication management, and social support services.

Outpatient Services

A therapist provides individual, family and group treatment typically once per week for a period of 8 to 12 weeks. Outpatient therapy is intended for those active in their recovery, stepping down from more intensive services and need ongoing treatment, as well as services to those in the co-dependent family and adult children of alcoholics.

Case Management Services

These services are designed to assist the individual and treatment team with issues that might be derailing progress in treatment or those needs that cannot be addressed effectively in therapy services.

Recovery Peer Support Services

Peer support services assist individuals and families recovering from alcohol or drug problems. Services are provided by a Peer Recovery Coach who is someone who has been trained to provide peer services and who has gone through the journey of recovery themselves.

Early Intervention Services

Early intervention services are a good first step. The services are intended to be short in duration and they are educational, informative and assist in helping the individual determine if more treatment is necessary.

Co-Occurring Services

Behavioral health and substance abuse issues often go hand in hand. Easter Seals Michigan’s integrated treatment is the most effective approach for successfully treating people with co-occurring conditions.

Answer these questions:

• Have you thought you ought to cut down on your drinking or drug use?

• Have people annoyed you by criticizing your drinking or drug use?

• Have you ever felt bad or guilty about your drinking or drug use?

If you answered yes to two of the above questions, it is possible that there may be a problem worth exploring. Contact Easter Seals Michigan and we will assist you in sorting it out. Call 1.800.75.SEALS.

The Clubhouse is a mental health rehabilitation program that operates on proven standards developed by the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD).  The focus is on providing members with the skills necessary to be successful in their everyday lives, as well as pursue meaningful activities such as education, employment, and volunteerism.  Working in the Clubhouse enhances members’ work skills and helps prepare them for re-entry into the workforce or in making a career change.  The Clubhouse offers a variety of supported education and employment opportunities to its members.  In addition, members can also participate in social and recreational events that are held in the evenings and/or on weekends and holidays.

The Clubhouse is structured around a “work-ordered day” which involves having members and staff work side-by-side to accomplish the daily business of the Clubhouse.  Members may choose to participate in one or more work units that are essential to the functioning of the Clubhouse.  A feature that is unique to the model is that members participate in all decision-making related to the running of the Clubhouse. Regular meetings are conducted to address various issues, including daily tasks; choices regarding activities that will be offered; menu planning; and program policies.  Involvement in the Clubhouse enhances members’ work and social skills, builds self-confidence, fosters a sense of belonging and gives members a strong foundation to pursue their individual goals.

DUC services are provided through a contract with the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority.  Consumers must meet specific eligibility requirements in order to receive our services.

Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse is a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program accredited by CARF, and provided through the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority and Easter Seals Michigan’s Adult Behavioral Health program.  For more information on Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse, please call (866) 296-3635.  If you have any additional questions, please contact us.
