St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic

he mission of St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic is to provide underserved residents of the community access to quality affordable basic dental care.

St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic:
The clinic reopened in May 2010 with four retired volunteer dentists serving four days a month. The clinic now has a dedicated team of over 40 volunteer dental professionals serving needy patients over twenty days a month. This wonderful team of oral surgeons, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and dental students (from University of Michigan & University of Detroit Mercy, Schools of Dentistry with their faculty), and dental hygiene students (from Wayne County Community College and Baker College) are dedicated to serve the vulnerable of the community.

With generous donations from the Carls Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield and with technical assistance from Great Expressions, the clinic added two new operatories in July 2013. The renovated well equipped clinic now has a capacity to treat more adults who need basic dental treatment – cleaning, fillings, extractions and dentures.

Thanks to the support of many like you, we were able to do over 2,500 patient visits in 2014.

Your generosity helps so many in our community!

With the demand of dental services rising in the area, the clinic is in constant need of additional dental professionals willing to donate their time.
